In my second go around of artwork under my producer name SOLD NOT TOLD, I created pop art in the form of 2×7 inch bookmarks and 24×36 inch posters. The bookmark idea actually came from needing a bookmark after I lost my place in a novel I had been reading and I couldn’t remember where I left off. I wanted the pieces to have a comic book feel as I am a fan of manga and graphic novels. I even have a few bookmark pieces that were blends of manga and comic book panels edited together that I sold on Etsy for a while.The characters and speech balloons were drawn in Procreate for iPad while the final designs were edited in Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo.
